Artist Interview: Bingjie BJ Cui
Bingjie BJ Cui is a freelance illustrator specializes in editorial, food illustration, brand advertising and publishing. Born and raised in Xinjiang, China, a city known for its cultural diversity, Bingjie’s work is heavily influenced by ethnic aesthetics and the local spirit of the land. The dance between the logical thinking from her science background and emotional feelings through art allows the artist to create work that corresponds to visual literacy and texts.

Bobby Cheung is a Shanghai-born, New York-based multidisciplinary artist who engages with both visual and sound mediums of art. With color vision deficiency, he enjoys his creative process by going with the flow and exploring ideas beyond traditional practices. His works play with the concept of integrating portraiture with new media techniques to convey stories of the current.
Artist Interview: Xuanlin Ye
Xuanlin Ye lives and works in Chicago. He received his BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (2017), received his MFA from Hoffberger School of Painting at Maryland Institute College of Art (2020), and graduated from the University of Chicago with an MA in Art History (2022).

Yuqi Wang is a visual artist who was born in Jiangsu, China and based in Tokyo, Japan. He holds a BFA in Design and a minor in Film from the School of Visual Arts in New York. Working primarily in the medium of photography, Yuqi’s practice investigates issues around cultural anachronism, reverse culture shock, sexuality and intimate relationship in the Chinese modern society.
