Debuted at Blackstone Apartments, a historical Baroque-style landmark in the former French Consession area in Shanghai, China, the pop-up exhibition Present Progressive provides a landscape of six emerging artists creative visions during the post-COVID time. It is a story of seeing, feeling, and celebrating the daily new blood of the art community. The young artists in Present Progressive share interests in exploring relations between reality and ambiguity, lights and shadows, rational and emotional, coupled with the belief in art as a tool for making the beauty of objects, human-being, and nature to be seen.
